I have to disagree. USB disks often come formatted with FAT (specifically FAT32), because it works on almost any OS. And FAT32 doesn't support files of 4GB or larger. So, whereas in general terms, you're right, the post didn't contain anywhere near enough specific info -- in this case, it had enough.
