[opensuse] Unexpected block devices

Hello List, on two systems newly upgraded to Leap 15.0, I'm seeing strange block devices: e.g. with four HDDs, the system runs fine for a while (say, a week), then additional block devices /dev/sde ... /dev/sdh appear, and any process calling open() on them hangs in disk sleep.
