Well, again, do check that config file now! Does it have: ## Do not insult users when they enter an incorrect password. Defaults !insults
no it didnt have this entry. but i am trying to understand this universe and why stuff happens. why does this stuff come across me now yesterday? i never seen insults so far. i only edited that file very long time ago. this is beyond my understanding. :(
As I commented, maybe openSUSE applied a patch and now got removed in an update. I can not verify this, only a guess. I also guess that SLE would do this. At least I would, in their feet. I suggest you report this in a Bugzilla. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
