I'm sure the CDs are already burned...release date on website says 'end of January' so I guess we'll see shipping next week? Maybe they'll put a 2.2 Kernel RPM on the ftp site, for 6.0 users to download, that way with the 'readiness' of 2.2 all people would have to do is use rpm to upgrade. It's been strangely quiet on the S.u.S.E. front lately...( or so it seems to me..)
The CDs will not contain the 'final' 2.2 Kernel, it has been released too late. It'll need some more testing, before it will be the default. SuSE Linux 6.0 uses 2.0.36 as the default, you can alternatively install a 2.2-pre Kernel. The final 2.2 kernel is already on the ftp-Server.
