Hi, I am setting up a private network inside a larger unversity network, and a SuSE 7.2 box does the IP Masquerading. I have several computers with static IP numbers, but want to set up the DHCP daemon to feed dynamic numbers to laptops or new computers as they connect. The larger network also uses DHCP run by a Solaris server (the config file format is different) but there are not enough numbers to go around, so it is a big game of "musical chairs" Does anyone have a sample dhcpd.config file to get me started? The man page is rather confusing, and the dhcpd package does not come with a sample config file as far as I can tell. John Craig
