True, but if I want to save some space, pulling the raw video files doesn't reduce the size. video don't reduce if you don't remove something (menus, subtitles, quality...) and you will gain very little
I beg to differ; k9copy will reduce a 9 GB video DVD to fit on a 4.7 GB DVD without any problem at all. The quality is reduced slightly, yes, but if I'm watching on my laptop on a plane, the reduction in quality isn't so much that it's a problem, at least not for me.
so you choose to reduce quality, this was not obvious in the initial post. so far so good, no problem if this fixes your needs on a laptop screen, divx are enough (IMHO) and only 700Mb in size for a film... but better dl them because the creation is very long jdd -- Jean-Daniel Dodin Président du CULTe www.culte.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
