Hi, An entry in the grub file configuration calls the dos boot-manager, just like lilo... Lilo with the lba32 option now does the same thing that grub, in my opinion. Regards...

Hi,
I used it with mandrake 7.2, worked fine, and it doesn't have the
04:30:08PM -0300) limit of
1024 cilinders that lilo had prior to last version.
As far as I know, the latest version of lilo does not have this restriction any more.
True, latest lilo doesn;t. You now can boot of a 32G reiserfs partition if you so desire.
While it doesn't add anything useful, the graphic bootscreen of lilo is sooo cool ;)
Can Grub boot an NT4 partition?
