Hi everyone, Well I got a shiny new internal us robotics 56k real honest guv hardware modem and just installed it. Works with windows, it is plug and play though. I decided since I have a PS2 mouse, to put it on com1, and in the bios of my machine I disabled the "auto" set feature for com1. So I used the isapnp.onf below to allot it to com1 ran the isapnp comand and I got the following error message: [error message begins] lspci not found, so PCI resource conflict not checked on or around line 13OM2. Script asupplied by SuSE tech support /etc/isapnp.conf:13 -- Fatal - Error occurred parsing config file --- no action taken [error message ends] [isapnp.conf begins below] ##################################################################### # $Id: pnpdump.c,v 1.9 1997/06/10 21:37:32 fox Exp $ # This is free software, see the sources for details. # This software has NO WARRANTY, use at your OWN RISK # # For details of this file format, see isapnp.conf(5) # # For latest information on isapnp and pnpdump see: # <A HREF="http://www.roestock.demon.co.uk/isapnptools/"><A HREF="http://www.roestock.demon.co.uk/isapnptools/</A">http://www.roestock.demon.co.uk/isapnptools/</A</A>> # # Compiler flags: -DREALTIME -DNEEDSETSCHEDULER # Assigns modem to COM1.
