Something is gobbleing up memory. Not memory, just swap. Apparently he has 25% of RAM free, before and after. He needs to post command sequence (commands and their output in a single copy paste operation) proving this, specially for the bugzilla. The machine becoming unresponsive can be a side effect of swap being on rotating rust media; it is much faster on SSD. My personal belief is that there was some change in swap handling on Leap 42, related to something causing many swap disk seeks (maybe fragmentation?). This belief is based on the fact that the day I upgraded from the 13.x series to the Leap series, I noticed the impact on the machine. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
