[opensuse] Mouse hints (almost) unreadable

Hi, On my Leap 42.1 system I have some applications where the mouse hints (when you hover the mouse cursor over a menu or button) are almost unreadable (white text on very light grey background). Is this fixable ? I tried _some_ things with system-configuration, but didn't find a solution. I don't remember what I did. I gave up because I don't use XSane that much. But now I discoverd that Kicad also has that problem, so I thought I would ask.
