I would like to \dd xfce4 to my gdm login options but can't find out how to do this - the YaST tool doesn't seem to apply to gdm and gdmsetup doesn't include options to change the session types. Could anyone show me how?
Assuming you have xfce-utils installed, copy or symlink the gdm session file that it provides to /etc/opt/gnome2/gdm/Sessions and make sure it is executable. If you installed XFce4 from Illkka's RPMs, that file will be /etc/X11/gdm/Sessions/XFce4. If you installed from source, it might still be there, but do a search if not. -- Scott Jones (scott at exti dot net)
