Thanks everyone for your feedback. Scribus is looking good but a little crashy at the moment and the OOo draw idea is one I'd never thought about before.
file>new>drawing takes on a whole new meaning for me. What an amazing bit of kit. I must admit to having been totally distracted with that wonderful 3d module. Lighting effects and all. Addictive. And I'm sure that the kids will love it. Cheers, Steve.
