Thanks. Several folks have suggested VMWare. Unfortunately, I never got VMWare running well on my machine. Right at the start, it doesn't like my mouseman+ and won't run in full-screen mode. That alone would make it unsuitable for VC++ and my weak eyeballs. VC++ is such a beast, I can't imagine it running acceptably under VMWare. (Of course I don't think it runs acceptably under any circumstances!) VMWare is in heavy development. I definitely plan to try it again in a few months. On Tue, 01 Feb 2000, TRBishop wrote:

Right now I'm being forced to use that bloated buggy monster MS Visuall C++ and am switching between Windows and Linux (on the same machine) a lot.
Loadlin makes it relatively easy to boot Linux when in Windows. Is there anything out there for going the other way?

You might want to take a look at VMware. That's what I use with MSVBC++ loaded in it on Win98. I never have to leave SuSE. It's a little slow, but so is rebooting. I'm also networked to vmware, so I can move things hither and yon. I use Xwpe as a scratch pad and transfer to MSVB for the teach's sake. Tom
