Hi,
I have a PDF document where some pages are portrait, and some are landscape. I printed using "document viewer" in XFCE, which is "evince" (3.26.0). It has printed all in portrait, resizing those page in landscape so that they fit, using only the top half of the page.
How can I print them so that it switches automatically to the proper portrait or landscape mode automatically? Another PDF viewer does it properly?
Just tried Foxit (proprietary), prints correctly.

Hi Carlos Funny you should ask. I had the same problem about 1 hour ago. My document also had some pages using legal size sheets, but I don't have a paper tray for them, so they get shrunk. Here is what I did with evince ver. 3.26.0 go to advanced tab and select optimization to "text" print scaling to "fit" go to print handling tab and select auto rotate and center to "tick or enable" page scaling to "Shrink to printable area" go to page setup tab and select paper size to "letter" orientation to "portrait" (for duplex printing if available to you) two sided to "short edge flip" pages/side to "1" scale to "100%" go to general tab and select printer to "your printer here" all pages to "tick or enable" You might want to select a particular page or two to try it out. Everything else is my usual printer default settings. Worked for me. HTH Serafino -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
