Hi, I got ATI Remote Wonder USB remote control working in 10.2 x86_64. Actually the module is part of the kernel now, and everything works out of the box. I also tried the LIRC implementation - lirc_atiusb module. It works as well. I just hit a very weird behavior - the range in which the remote is accepted is like 2 meters. If I move the remote more than 2 meters away from the receiver, it does not receive signal. The problem is, that if I use the same device on Windows, the range is like 7-8 meters. I just can not figure out how this is possible, but these are the facts. I'll post this on GATOS project bug tracker, but I see there a lot of open cases, which are not answered in an year, so most probably this is not the right place to ask, as the driver is already part of the kernel. I'll also try the lirc mailing lists. So, if someone have any success with this device under suse, and can give some ideas, please do so :) Thanks in advance, Cheers -- Svetoslav Milenov (Sunny) Even the most advanced equipment in the hands of the ignorant is just a pile of scrap. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
