I read that the driver for this card is integrated into Xfree86 3.3.3, so i checked their website for info about the integration. The site said the card is supported via the xsvga server. Does anyone know if this server is accelerated for the card? I was surprised it is under xsvga...the MGA-G200 chipset is fast and has many features and I thought it would be supported under a separate accelerated server and not in a generic server. just wondering...
On the SuSE home page, there is a link for SuSE X Servers. There is one specifically for Matrox G200 cards. There are subject to the same licence as XFree86 servers and are freely available. lunaslide * PGP key->pgpkeys.mit.edu port 11371 * * * * * * * ...the really profound changes in human life all have their ultimate origin in knowledge pursued for its own sake. * * * * * -Alfred North Whitehead * * * * * * * * - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
