Hi list,
- I wish to get rid of the SuSE updater (is it called so?), the little icon in the taskbar that turns to orange when updates are available. - I wish to do so, because the desktop is presented to students (LTSP) and I don't want the ordinary users desktop to show the icon.
- what's the app called?
- thank you in advance!
That one is called zen-updater (different color than opensuseupdater) Uninstall the Zen pattern to get rid of it and its dependencies.
