For comparison, consider WinNT. A service pack upgrade is free off the internet, but the CD's cost well over $100.
That's a bit misleading. The SP CDs are $15 last I checked.
Wow!! I was screwed.. I bought SP4 and it cost me $100+ Maybe it was the IE4.01 and the NT Resource pak that I also got. (duh.. I forgot those) I never bought another one though, that was my final MS purchase.
