Did You check Magic SysRq key? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_SysRq_key It must be allowed first in YaST. I'm not sure where. I guess security settings or kernel could be good starting points. I haven't used them myself, I just know people use to use them for similar purposes as You. :-)
