No,
I'm trying to install from a HD partition (windows). You may be right about a flawed partition setup...any suggestions? It looks like Yast tries to mount the source partition again after it mounts it the first time when I indicate the installation source medium on the beginning of the process...
I've reread your initial message. As you said earlier, "... I think I remembered it correctly ...", perhaps you did remember it almost correctly ;-) But the cause of the mounting problem is /windows/D. Retry the installation, but in the partitioner do not add /windows/D to the list. YasT will then not try to mount that partition, and installation will go on. Later on, after the installation, you can add that partition manually to your /etc/fstab. Leen
