I had a somewhat similar problem where despite selecting a larger resolution YaST would keep setting me up with a lower one and I think it also happened after I selected the 3D acceleration. Patrick on this list helped me by having me configure it by loading up sax2. I believe we disabled the KDE desktop and then ran sax2 from the command line and configured from there and everything was fine after that. The sax2 interface looks pretty much just like the YaST screen for setting up the monitor and resolution, etc so it's easy to follow. -- Rick mailto:maillist@reumann.net
