I have just installer SuSE 6.3 on a server and I have a problem with the Postfix mailserver. It's not able to find its own domain basically. When I try to send a mail to 'account@host.domain' it works, but a mail to 'account@domain' does not work. Likewise, a mail to 'account@mail.domain' does not work either, even though 'mail' is only a CNAME for 'host'. It's set up to receive mail as 'host.domain', 'domain' and 'mail.domain' and when I try a 'host -a host' or 'host -a domain', it displays all the proper information. The error message I get from the mailer-deamon says "Deferred: Name server: 'domain': host name lookup failure" Does anybody have any idea how to fix this problem?
