-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hey all... I am still working on getting the Sierra aircard and the elan pc-pcmcia bridge to play nice. I think I've narrowed it down to a UDEV thing.. But I have two questions... 1. Has anyone tried the .98 version of UDEV? I noticed on the project site but when I searched the net the only RPM that I found was the one I am using .85. 2. There is a howto on Novell's website on setting up the aircard. It worked great on my laptop but not on the desktop. One item it said to do was to create an alias: alias pcmcia:m0192c0710f06fn00pfn00paD85F6206pb0BA21128pc07D22D0DpdD9533FEC serial_cs Now I know what alias does, but I thought it needed the "=". Also does anyone have an idea what all the numbers/letters are after the pcmcia. I really need to know what the numbers are because the above line is what I put in modprobe.d/sierra as the howto said, but the line below is what shows up in UDEV debug: pcmcia:m0192c0710f06fn00pfn00paD85F6206pb698F93DBpcAB3C6F47pdD9533FEC as you can see ;^) the 41st to 59th (or so) are different. Does it make a difference... Thanks for any help..
