Does flash work in your browsers? I've tried opera, Firefox, Chrome to view BBC iPlayer but the plugin just crashes on 12.2. I've tried googling the error but the only bits of news i can find is that it might be due to it trying to use hardware acceleration or its a sh*t release from Adobe
I've installed it on an old laptop with a Radeon (which didn;t work at all on 12.1 so progress is good)
At one point in the near past adobe changed the compile options of the linux flash player and enabled CPU architecture specific SSE2 flags which caused the flash player to barf on some older AMD hardware, I don't know if this is still the case.
Thanks, i didn't know that. Do you know if there is a way to downgrade Flash using, for example, an 11.4 repo?
As per my other reply in the list to a related post, if all else fails you could try using the official Chrome browser from google. As far as I know it has baked in flash player which has ongoing official support by Google under an agreement with Adobe. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
