Hi folks,
The openSUSE maintenance team will be updating Mozilla Firefox from 3.5.11 to 3.6.8 in openSUSE 11.1 and 11.2.
I have read warnings that it doesn't work with vmware-server. Is it true? <http://radu.cotescu.com/2010/01/19/how-to-install-vmware-server-ubuntu-fedora-opensuse/comment-page-7/#comments> ]> Radu April 7th, 2010 at 10:25 ]> ]> If by any chance you are using Firefox greater than 3.5.8, then VMware’s console plugin won’t work. <http://radu.cotescu.com/2010/01/19/how-to-install-vmware-server-ubuntu-fedora-opensuse/comment-page-15/#comments> ]> Radu August 5th, 2010 at 18:00 ]> ]> There’s nothing you can do to make the console plug-in work okay on FF greater than 3.5 from what I recall. But you can use the other .sh file to launch the console in a Gtk window after you have tried to install the plug-in in FF. I have 3.5.11 and it works, with some quirks, because, I understand, I installed it on a previous version and upgraded. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
