Let me try this, I've got Xine, Kaffeine and w32codecs installed. Can't play wmv files. Do I have to do anything to Kaffeine to get the codecs plugged in....other than to run it?
If you followed the directions and installed all of the suggested software, you will be able to play wmv files, BUT.... Even in windoz, unless you use m$explorer, some wmv files will not play and some will not play as a stream (you can download and play from disk). I have a friend who tries not to use explorer, uses mozilla, and experiences this. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org
