I reboot my laptop with openSUSE-10.2-Beta1-i386-mini.iso in the cd drive but it boots to the grub menu every time. The laptop will boot the 10.0 cd Is there something else I need to do? (Make the iso bootable?)
Thanks,
Hi Jerome,
Is the 10.0 CD burned from iso or it is retail version. Normal is that iso image contains boot section, and all you have to do is to burn it as iso image.
When you look at CD, that you made with openSUSE-10.2-Beta1-i386-mini.iso in file manager, what you see. Some directory structure like on FTP server or just one file openSUSE-10.2-Beta1-i386-mini.iso?

Hello Rajko, Retail, this is my second attempt at the iso internet download method; the first was 10.2alpha5.iso, same problem.

When I opened it in Konqueror it opened K3b. When I open it in Krusader I see three folders: El Torito Boot,ISO9660,Joliet level 3. Jerome
