Having a hell of a time finding readable documentation for postgresql install from SuSE 8.0 cdrom.
Documentation is installed with the package, take a look at /usr/share/doc/packages/postgresql/html

Found the documentation, went through it, created a database, started postmaster, but cannot get access to the database as user, I get permission denied. Supposedly the user should have access, but no such luck. Also, files are not where the documentation says they should be. If anyone has gotten postgresql to working on SuSE 8.0, I would appreciate some help. Art
