Create a file called /usr/X11R6/bin/gnome with the contents: #!/bin/sh exec /opt/gnome/bin/gnome-session and restart kdm. Gnome should be in the session list again. -- John Ross Hunt bigboote@mediaone.net <mailto:bigboote@mediaone.net>
Hello everyone,
I downloaded and installed Gnome 1.2. My only question now is how can I start it. I would like to be able to use kdm to choose a window manager when logging in, but Gnome is no longer listed. Gnome is no longer listed in Yast either. Is there any way that I can add it to kdm so that it is an option?
