List,
Thanks to a discussion by Randall mentioning qps,
And I learned about it from Patrick Shanahan.
curiosity got the better of me and I had to check it out. It is a neat system monitoring app that is somewhat a graphical combination of ps axf and top. What it adds that neither of its text mode counterparts does, is the ability to expand of close child processes in a code-folding manner.
It has other convenient features, too: a textual filter field for selecting which processes to view, the ability to view threads if you wish and the ability to see only your own or all processes. The display font can be configured and the complement of process description fields may be arbitrarily controlled. The display's periodic updates can also be paused.
Neat app if you want to give it a look. Thanks R.S and P.S. for shedding some light on the app.
P.S. being Patrick Shanahan, of course.
