Hi I playing around with this game Eve (a windows thing packaged with cedega) which takes over the whole screen when started. I cant find any way to minimize the game when running - there seems to be no access my KDE desktop whithout exiting the game. I can do a second login using KDE "Change user" and start the game from here and then I am able switch between the game and my first desktop with ctrl+alt+F7 ctrl+alt+F8 . So I am searching for a easy way to start a single program (the game) on a secondary screen whitout the overhead of running another display manager. If I run # X :1& export DISPLAY=:1; xterm & as root - I can get new X with a single terminal. I can start programs from here and might even be able to launch the game this way to. But this only as root - if I change user I cant start any X applications. Launching 1.5G bytes of gamecode as root does not feel right - so is there an easy way to change user before or after starting X - and still be able to launch the game? Or am I going in the wrong direction. Any suggestions? -- Regards Klaus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
