Why is Seamonkey at version 2.46? 2.49.* has been available since November '17. I am guessing this has something to do with GTK3 but Firefox has moved to GTK3 already.
https://en.opensuse.org/Firefox-gtk3 Tumbleweed has already 2.49.x so I guess you talk about Leap 42.3?
One major issue we currently have with Seamonkey is that it's not correctly localized but only available in english. I think it still works in the Leap 42.3 version which is one reason why it wasn't updated yet.
