Hello: I would like to play music on my computer independent from the user session. For example if I start playing music as user 1 on vt7 and user 2 logs in on vt8, the second desktop takes over sound control and turns the sound off (playing the music is not stopped at vt7, only volume is turned off). How to set sound so that it would continue playing (would not turn off volume) when the desktop is changed? I use KDE3 with ALSA and KDE4 with pulse audio.
