In an earlier thread, John Craig mentioned to do the following:

in a terminal do
cd /usr/i486-linux-libc5-lib
ln -s libXpm_wx.so libXpm.so.4
cd

This was for SuSE 7.2, as SuSE seems to need a link to the old
libXpm.so.4.  This seemed to have done the trick.
