yes you did... see topic KDE 10.1 update and ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/README

KDE-versie: 3.5.3 Level "a" Systeem: SUSELinux 10.1 Kernel: 2.6.16.13-4-default
I am sorry to say this but not only that I didn't miss it but I explicitly mentioned it in my OP as the crucial part of the problem... Just read the 3rd paragraph of my OP again and you'll see. And yes I didn't mention that I don't use 10.1 yet... Just 9.3 and 10.0 (32 and 64bit)
Namely, this README file points to the repository that is not useable by Yast any more, at least not in the old way or in any other way I managed to recognize and understand.
I use 10.0 and the new repository is usable. You can simply add it to the Yast sources. You'll get an error message, but you can say "continue anyway" (sorry, I have the german version, don't know the original messages). Then when you start Yast's install part it just works. But I have some (smaller) problems wth the new KDE 3.5.3, so maybe first follow the list a while to see, if I'm the only one :-) Daniel -- Daniel Bauer photographer Basel Switzerland professional photography: http://www.daniel-bauer.com special interest site: http://www.bauer-nudes.com -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
