[opensuse] Ripping DVDs

Hi All, I have tried ripping some of my DVDs to put them on my NAS and have found a small issue, when I use k9copy or VLC it only rips 40 mins of the film and cuts some scenes out. When I use K3b it crashes with an generic error and no log.
