I just upgraded my machine and now have a Matrox G200 card in it. Downloading and installing XFree86 v3.3.3 was reasonably painless (why no new sax? Would've made it completely painless.) Earlier I had an old Matrox Millennium board. With it I could (although it was by no means a pleasure) run Quake-2 in an X window. With the G200 card, any such attempt immediately crashes X. What do I need to do to make it work in X? How do I configure SVGAlib such that it takes advantage of the G200 board (at least better than at 320x200.) ? _ /Bjorn. - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
