These commands change the size in the cfg file, which is true. # gfxboot --change-config 1366x768::screen.size=1366,768 1366x768::mainmenu.pos=400,200 1366x768::bootopt.pos=200,750 # gfxboot --change-config layout=1366x768,boot
However, despite putting the right image size in place, there is no change in the blurry fonts&size, and no image is loaded.
Is there anybody else here, that might have a clue as why the settings only accept 800x600?
Likely only works with modes supported by both video BIOS and display hardware. I doubt 1366x768 is among any such modes. On such a display I doubt any but 800x600, 640x480 & maybe 1024x768 might be supported by both display and BIOS. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
