[opensuse] Lost my sound

Hello SuSE people, Running 11.4 with KDE4.6 Did a zypper up and lost my sound. Went to try and fix it and ran into an amazingly complicated convoluted array of menus that boggles my old mind. Can someone offer a simple solution (I just want sound) or a tutorial on what all that stuff does?
