I worked hard since i succeed in configuring my ISP connection and i agree with you, Ezppp is a very nice program. I wish S.u.S.E 5.1 provided it, it would be much easier to get ppp running Take a look at the Ezppp-howto, there's some very useful tips, especiallly if your ISP uses PAP identification.

X-ISP works wonderfully well, and my ISP uses PAP also. I'd recommend this xforms app as the best ppp app for dialup.
