Have you installed shim-15.4-7.2.x86_64.rpm?
This includes the shim-install command.
Try,
# shim-install
In my laptop (TOSHIBA Dynabook), it returns the message 'No Valid EFI partition'. On this, I can turn csm off, but I cannot disable secure boot.
So I fully understand Carlos' advice not to bother. (^^)
Best Regards.
mh, i get more and more also to this point. i found this: https://github.com/rhboot/shim https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/565615/efi-boot-bootx64-efi-vs-efi-... the second told me that the "grub-install --target=x86_64-efi", will if shim is installed, automatically install the shim stuff. have to think about it and for sure need some free time to play around. if i do the manual change, i will report here again. simoN ========== www.becherer.de
