[SLE] Diamond Monster Fusion / Weird monitor behaviour

Hi All! I have a Diamond Monster Fusion graphics card on my pentium3-500Mhz system. It is working under X but sometimes (can't reproduce it, it doesn't always happen) when I exit X to go back to the command line, the monitor (samsung Syncmaster 17GLSi) puts itself on standby. It also happens sometimes when starting X (enlightenment/gnome) Any ideas? Is there a good driver available (couldn't find any on the web) Or has anyone of you maneged to solve this weird problem?
