Menu's and fonts in openoffice

Hi all, I've recently switched from Fedora core 1 to Suse 9.0 professional. The problem that i have is that the fonts used in menus in openoffice (and most of the screen fonts as well) look very smoothered ("crappy" would be another word matching the look) and does not even closely look as great as the rest of the desktop ! any pointers as to what might be wrong ? Or is this simply how Openoffice looks in Suse ? Regards Lasse Christiansen
