Where can I get Mplayer???? The one I downloaded before wouldn't install.
As Anders stated in this same post:
Both xine and mplayer will do it. Get either or both from http://packman.links2linux.org, and perhaps a nice frontend like Kaffeine Don't forget to get all the packages listed as "required", especially the w32codecs package. That's the one that lets them play wmv files/streams
<duh> <---I guess I deserve that one :-\
Let me try this, I've got Xine, Kaffeine and w32codecs installed. Can't play wmv files. Do I have to do anything to Kaffeine to get the codecs plugged in....other than to run it? Tom -- Tom Nielsen Neuro Logic Systems 805.389.5435 x18 www.neuro-logic.com
