You'd probably be a lot better off using Nagios. It's a lot less expensive and does most of what BMC Patrol does... Braun
Hi Folk's,
I was wondering if anyone has experience with BMC Patrol on any flavour of Unix/Linux, and more importantly where in the hell it installs its init scripts to. I've found a few of them in /opt/bmc but in no place sensible.
Also what are your opinions of it and have you come across anything better; so far I've pulled lots of pretty graphs off the console, but nothing really (to me) valuable.
Regards,
Ben
