One of the tools does an automatic rename [snip] Aaahhhhhh... It's been a long time, and a lot of people have forgotten it, but I think I know the perfect thing. It's powerful and flexible, even if it takes some practice to really become efficient with it. Fortunately, it's part of the standard install on every flavor. sh ;-) Seriously, though, for a transform-during-copy, I bet that's your only bet. Should be an easy little script.
