We already do that, this is an internal one but when the users log into our intranet from home they will need to be able to access this website and therefore need pass-through authentication.

All I need to get working is so that users can authenticate to the website with their active directory accounts (therefore no password entry required internally and we can then make the site available externally).
Run two web servers, one internal and one external? Less attack surface that way.
