it will run as client for Alsa. Rosegarden works that way.
Thanks for adding that, Rajko. I've been using timidity that way so long, I didn't think to specify. Actually, timidity does so much I haven't been able to learn it all yet.
I wrote that because timidity can be used as player and that is what majority of users discover first.
