GPRS in SuSE 9.3

Hi, I would like to try Sony/Ericsson GC85 EDGE/GPRS PC Card and GPRS in linux. Any advice how to start is welcome... I launched yast but network card and modem sections in yast do not find anything... In google I find older card works in debian and redhat. So I hope that it is possible in SuSE... Thank you for any help. I am novice in linux... My system is IBM ThinkPad X30 + SuSE 9.3 Pro. Audrius
