Hi all, Thanks Lenz for your help I am describing what I did because I did not succeded with this new aic7xxx update ! I was able to copy the aic7xxx to the floppy. I have also boted the system with this new floppy and when prompted I choosed install and then boot on my root partition which is /dev/sda8 every thing went well untill the time to start the xserver. This keep looping I gess without giving me the kde display I asked for.
